Come and join us on a tour to the town of Tequila, Birthplace of our national drink "TEQUILA”. During our ride you will have the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic views of the agave azul plantations.
In our first stop you will have the opportunity to see a Jimador (name given to the worker that harvests the agave) in action. You will learn in detail the process of harvesting the heart of the plant.
When we arrive at the town of Tequila we will visit Mundo Cuervo. We will tour the oldest distillery in Mexico, "La Rojeña" of Jose Cuervo. Here we will enjoy an extraordinary walk-through in which we will be able to taste the Tequila and observe the different processes needed to produce our national beverage, cooking, mashing, fermentation and distillation.
Mundo Cuervo offers in its installations different types of arts and crafts. Textiles, Ceramic, Silver and Polished Stone. It also counts with an art exhibit of renowned artist such as Sergio Bustamante, Jesus Guerrero Santos and Juan Soriano for your enjoyment.
Time will be given for those that want the opportunity to purchase Tequila base drinks such as the famous Margarita and leisurely explore the beautiful town of Tequila on your own and do the activities of your choosing.
